ok, i've got a new question about Artisan foods now.

For the Light Food Additives, i talked to my MBE friend, and she made me a run of Micronutrients to put in them. They were +57 ones. Just curious what's the best you guys have ever seen, and also how much of a difference does 1 or 2 points on the Micronutrient stats make?

The theoretical best possible micronutrient is +60, which would require all resources to have 1000 OQ / PE / FL (or made during the "one day crafting change" last year where amazing experiments bumped the max percentages).

The best I've ever seen with my own eyes was +59, but that's pretty tough (requires > 970 in all stats). Most are in the range of +54 to +58.

The BE tissues are a percentage bonus to the base stats of the food. With the ones you got, you'd get a 57% increase in buff power compared to a food without the tissue experimented the same way.

There is some weirdness on how the nutrient tissues affect foods that buff multiple stats. With multi-stat foods, only the first listed stat is improved with experimentation and tissue bonuses. I'm not sure if this is a bug or working as designed.

The difference of 1 or 2 points on the tissue depends on the base stats of the food. Since it's a percentage bonus, the larger the un-enhanced buff, the largerthe difference. So say you make a blob candy without a tissue and get +110 Action regen. With a +57 tissue, that'd come out to 110 * ( 1 + 0.57 ) = +172. With a +58 tissue, it'd come out with 110 * (1 + 0.58) = 173.

With travel biscuits, an unenhanced version might be +10 Terrain Negotiation. With a +57 it'd be +15.7, with a +58 it'd be +15.8. Since skill buffs drop everything after the decimal point, these two tissue provide the same end bonus.

Thanks for the info

I noticed the multistat thing last night while i was playing around with non-BE'ed Crispic.

whenever i experimented, it only increased one of the Accuracy mods. i don't remember if it was Melee or Ranged, but it was whichever was the first in the list.

Is it worth Having a Bio Eng make the ingreadiants for the food additive...

Seems to me the cost of haveing someone make the light food bio ingred. needed for light food additive is more than than the finished food product is worth........

I do not think they thought this one out well......

Not to mention that i have not found any light food bio ing. on the Bazaar....

And I have not been able to find a Bio Eng on - line when I am ....

What does the schematic for the light food bio component, made by the BE, look like?

With ingredients, and weighted values and all? Thanks.

I'd check swgcraft.com for the schematic. Look under the bio-engineer profession, and you can click on all of the schematics they can make (with resource useage, weighted attributes, etc...)

Thus sayeth Dimear

I would, but with the advent of the CU, I am not sure what schematics have changed, and how accurate SWGCraft still is.

Here's what SWGcraft.com shows for the MNS:

1. Requires 20 units of Organic
2. Requires 15 units of Flora Food
3. Requires 15 units of Creature Food
4. Requires 1 Secret Research Data (Optional)

33% for OQ, PE & FL

I'm at work right now, so I can't double check that, but I'm pretty sure that's still correct. I'm certain its something much like that anyway. I assume this is the tissue you had in mind, anyway.

Talked to the guild BE (returned after 2 months of stagnancy! ) and the resources are correct, but the weights for them are not. Didn't mention anthing about Secret Research Data... I'll have to inquire on that a little later.

20% FL, 30% PE, 50% OQ

That secret search data is.... nothing
They added a slot to the Schem. but didnt add anything usable for it

Its definatly worth using an additive ... all of my light foods sell for between 40k and 80k depending on whether they require casks, light bio or both ... for example, ruby bliel doesn't require a light additive but does require casks while most light food won't require casks but do require light additives .... most BE's on my server charge about 30k/crate of light bios so I started there and figured my prices from there I also consider how many subcomponents, or factory runs I have to do to make the final product
