I got engineer4 just before todays patch, it went really fast when I got harvesters.

Now I just don't know whatI should do next. Droid Engineer sounds fun, but I've heard the profession is a mess. What profession is a good one to make money with? Are any of the crafting professions more fun than the others?

Thanks.

i had to make the same decision and yes from what ive heard DE is a messed up profession. I ended up choosing to go for WS for various reasons, but if u wanna have fun choose the one that sounds the most entertaining to u, and really it doesnt matter as to the money, cuz in the early lvls of any of the elite eng. tree u cant expect to make any money. so go for what works for u.

Vaedross, are you referring to Holo's comment that the developers think thecurrent "Creature Wars" should become more like "Droid Wars"?

If so, I'd like to hear what you think the impact to the game overall will be.As Isee it, the way people scream it's not likely that there'll be much nerfage of the CH abilities, which means they'll remain strong even when/if DE abilities (which translates into droid abilities) are enhanced.

Doesn't that just mean that, instead of everyone feeling like theyhave to own creature pets (which is a bizarre-looking and totally non-Star Wars-y situation), we'll just have everyone walking around with creature pet OR droid pets? I agree with Holo that at least droids look more appropriate for this setting, but do we really want every player stillfeeling like he has to have some sort of pet to enjoy the game?

I wonder if maybe the more correct (though difficult) course is to more closely tie creaturepet abilities to actual CH owners, and find some similar limitation on droid ownership that will help preserve the "Star Wars" feel.

Me? I made Master Artisan a while back and had the same problem, where to go from here? The asnswer for me? Nowhere. I am just leaving it alone for now, I am waiting to see what the vehicles and ship expansion pack come out with for Artisan. No use using up skill points that I don't have anyway on a profession that I don't really want to do. Hopefully something good will come out of the patch and expansion for Artisans.
