These boards are hosed.

I only want to make guns, so what should I grind in order to move up the ladder?

There are no less than three other posts on this question on the first two pages of this forum... please consult one of them.

Right now, I am grinding Blaster Rifle Barrels. These yield about 94 exp per craft, so they add up pretty quick. They finish crafting in 9 seconds, so if you run a string of 3 or 4 weapons crafting tools, you should get them flowing with the quickness provided you have 31 steel and 15 metal to fulfill the requirements. I just let my character mine for steel overnight, and use some other metal for the 15.

first you grind metal staffs which just take metal and mineral which is pretty much iron copper steel aluminum or whatever pretty easy grind them till firearms I and during this time stock up on steel and once you get firearms I macro projectile rifle barrels cause they only have two slots so easy with double click button and also give like 94 or so xp each GOOD LUCK!

Continue with survey tools until Eng. 3, then make personal harvesters to complete eng.4 and/or Master Artisan. If you go for MA switch to vehicles to take you to Novice WS, if not continue with the personal harvesters.
