If you do this you will get tons of windows open when you come back but it works.
Macro Name = afkSample
/sample;
/pause 123;
/stand;
/pause 30;
/macro afkSample;
This macro allows you to sample for 123 seconds ( ~4 samples), then you stand for 30 seconds ( which is ~the time in between samples), then it starts over again. The reason for the /stand is that when you stand your sampling is no longer haulted by the window. The only downside is that they will continue to pop up as if the other ones weren't there. But it is well worth it.

I would prefer mine over that one, you will sample as you would just sample normally, and if you happen to get a window it will be ignored on the instance ( with your macro you might get a window on the first sample and that will ruin the rest untill you start the new sample) Here you go:
------------------------------------------------------------
1. Make a macro called Sample with the text:
/stand;
/pause 2;
/sample;
/pause 2;
/stand;
/pause 1;
/sit;
/pause x;
/macro sample
Check how long it takes for you, while sitting, to charge up all the mind and action you used when sampling.
Change the X in /pause x; to the amount of seconds it took, although it must be atleast 28 I believe.
2. Run through the macro a few times so you see you recharge all the mind and action and that you dont use /sample to frequently so it sais you can't sample for another Y seconds.
3. Find somewhere safe to sample, use /macro sample or a hotkey for it.
4. Go out, enjoy life, come back later and you have the XP
-----------------------------------------------------------

Hi there, I have tried to set up one of these macros, but when I hit my hotkey, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
I have run macros for tumble/heal, etc, but for some reason this one does nothing at all...

Make sure you have the right hotkey/macro command selected for starting the macro over- also make sure you survey something first, otherwise it won't sample.
