Well I was going through some assorted books when I came accross an old Star Wars Book of mine.


Star Wars:The Essential Guide to Vechicles and Vessels Published 1998


Well in its a great book with nive drawing and backstories for tones of ships from the Three Movies and books.


Well here is some info that the book also gave:


(The Lars Family Speeder) -V-35- You see the model when look enter mos Eisly its the one with the enclosed cabine. Even though it was used and very old its price could still fetch "a few thousand credits"


A TIE Defenders cost around 300,000 credits each.

And it says thats about 5 times the cost of a Standard TIE Fighter meaning that a tie fighter costs around 60,000 credits.



I know that the IN-game economy is different from what has been established in the books but this is a small glimpes what price should be like.

I have to laugh, that would be a wonderful price. But you said it yourself, the in-game economy is different, in that it is a functioning (sort of) economy. Those prices you listed are simply lore outta the books they are based on the imagination of the author.
