Did u ever get off your vechile in a city of near your house and the blasted thing wouldn't store?
Well I have alittle trick that I use that allows me to store again.
All u need to do is try to get your vechile into a building.
You know when your mounted red barries go up to prevent you from entering a building, well just line up with it and try to go through. Hold forward till you are ejected from your vechile wait a few second cause sometimes your vechilce will warp a few meters while it resets itself the try to store.
This works everytime for me.

That vehicle self-storing bug is really annoying when you're out in the middle of nowhere and you need to dismount your vehicle for whatever reason, and you don't have any camps or resources to make camps. In the words of Indiana Jones: "We walk from here!" Reminds me of the old days before vehicles and creature mounts.

well, I wasn't replying to you, I was replying to the first post in the topic 
and btw, that is actually not auto storing, believe it or not!
What happens is that the server believes your vehicle is in another place than you see it, so when you get of the vehicle you will still be where you saw yourself, but the vrhicle will be updated to the servers location. I noticed this when driving through cities and fields of harvesters before, and if you dismounted you would see your vehicle stuck in the corner of a harvester. Another note on this is that other people seems unable to see you if this happens, as if they get the servers location of the vehicle (I noticed this when playing with my brother, I was next to him on my screen but we couldnt see me on his screen)

I would agree with you, except... when I go to my datapad and bring up the radial menu on my vehicle, it says Generate Vehicle instead of Store, which means it did store itself.

I'm not talking about intentionally storinga vehicle. I'm talking about a vehicle that stores itself when you don't want it to. Imagine you dismount your vehicle for just a sec to do whatever (e.g. kill something, survey, etc.) and you come back towhere your vehicle used to be and it's not there. It's a known bug and it always happens when I'm out in the middle of nowhere, 2.5 km from the nearest city and I don't have any resources to make a camp.

Always sais 'store' on mine, well, I guess we can add another bug to the list then
