I have a question on expirimentation. Can greater results be acheived with many small expiriments (putting one or two points into a category and then hitting the expiriment button)or can greater results be cheived by one or two big expiriments?

I've triedmultiple approaches to experimentation-- one point at a time, in blocks of three, and all at once.I seem to get the same final result percentage regardless.

There areonly twodifferences, and neither relates to actual experimentation quality results. One is that, depending on the number of experimentation points you have available and the complexity of the item you're trying to craft, you may find that spending more than three experimentation points at a time raises the risk level to over 0%. There appears to always be a certain minimum risk of critical failure of about 5% (even when the risk level displayed reads "0%" which seems imprecise at best), but you can insure that it's no higher by limiting yourself to three experimentation points at a time.

The other difference is that every additional experiment adds to the time required to craft the item. If the base crafting time is 15 seconds, and you spend all your points in one fell swoop, it'll take about 15 seconds to craft the item. If on the other hand you have 10 experimentationpoints and spend them one at a time, it'll take closer to 30-40 seconds to craft that item. This could be an important factor if you're grinding (which I don't endorse, BTW).

Again, though, these don't affect the quality ofthe crafted item. The various factors (Shock Resistance, Overall Quality, etc.)of your resources and the factor percentages specified by the experimentation modes are much more important in determining the upper limit on the final quality of your crafted item.

I usually use about 3 or 4 at a time:

It keeps my fail rate down very much (if I use all at once, at master architect, I can still get a 5 or 10% fail rate (the red bar on the right))

If I happen to fail, I still have chance to regain what I lost

It evens out the success rate. I.e., if you use all 10 points at once, and you get a moderate success, your screwed. If you use 3 or4 at a time you still can pick up if you get a bad success. Also, compared to if you use 1 point each time, you get a lot less risk to fail. If you have 5% to fail each time, and you use 1 point at a time, you will end up with failing on about 40% of your items (compared to 19% using 3 or 4 points at a time)

It keeps the produce time down considered to using 1 or 2 points at the same time

As I like to say, better safe than sorry

My theory on this is, if I'm crafting something that is not very complex (and I have less chance of failing) like powerups. I'll use 1 point at a time in hopes of getting two or three amazing sucesses.

If I'm crafting something that is more complex (higher chance of failure) or uses a large chunk of resources, such as vehicles. I'll use 2-3 experimentation points at a time and hope for an amazing success at least once.
