Ok am Human master artisan so have the +15 artisan experimentation
Also have +24 worth of artisan experimentation CA
And +22 worth of artisan assembly CA for what it's worth
But how does one calculate what makes a 12pt or 14pt crafter??

You're 13 point. It's experimentation modification / 10. You have 100 from master artisan, 24 from clothing, 15 from being human. So you have 139 + experimentation points. Add another +1 artisan experimentation to your clothing, and you'll have +25 (the maximum used for calculations), and have +140 experimenation total. This is 14 points.

The points are actually how many experimentation bars you have when experimenting during crafting. If you craft some artisan item near a crafting station, you'll find that you have 13 experimentation points to use for crafting. Add a little more to your clothing and you'll have 14.
