how do yall start i mean w/ no money and junk cause i dont like surveying so i just go and buy the resources but when u have like no money u cant do that so you gotta waste ur time gettin the resources and you have to do it over and over again, you can get like to a novice elite crafting profession like two times faster if u dont have to survey :-\ so i was just wondern how yall got started cause im thinkin bout gettin a crafter/medic jedi to c if its any easyier then a combat profession thx

This game is like a pencil in a pencil sharpner...the tip represents how good the devs think the game is the rest of the pencil represents the players...every time the devs "think" they make it better, there for "sharpining" the pencil, the pencil gets shorter.

I dont believe the dark side derived from the jedi like many believe, i believe that jedi were born from the dark side. Now see there had to be one force weilder who learned how to harness the force so he trained others, now think if u were the only person in the galaxie that had the power to destroy a whole fricken army by your self would u be good? I would try and take over the galaxie ya no and i believe many of you would too.

You should have started out with about 75k(I started with 250 credits back in the day) credits. With that you can buy resourcesand master artisan or start some other type of crafting profession. You can also survey and whatnot. Try running delivery missions and survey missions.. I used to get 1k credits for running a delivery mission(ran the whole way). You want to sell some of what you make.. if you can master artisan you can make vehicles that sell for 10k plus, powerups also sell esspecially if you get a factory and run crates but that is probably to expensive.

A guild is a great help, also see if a veteran crafter would be willing to help you get on your feet a little bit, dont beg but ask if they can teach you stuff and help you with the general gaming stuff.

You should probably get some combat skills and maybe run some missions that pay you money and give you xp. I only told the above stuff for making money since you posted this on the artisan boards. There is money in almost any profession if you are patient and work at it.
