Hey all I just started a toon that's going to be a crafter........I read the stickies but have a few questions I hope you all can answer.
If I went Master Artisan/Master Tailor what kind of income could I expect, I know you cant give me hard figures....but like who needs my stuff as in other crafters. I know AS need some things I can provide etc.
If I eventually wanted to go jedi (cause an Ithorian Jedi would just look sweet :smileyvery-happy
can I do it as a crafter, obviously with help from a guild that I'll probably join.....or would I need a combat class.
Think thats about all for now............I want to craft, and tailor I guess is my extent, don't want to get super involved with AS, WS and such
Thanks for ur help in advance

I don't think "how much would I earn" is a good question to ask, but rather ask yourself what type of crafting you want to do. I'm a tailor, and I'm glad I picked that because I don't like to worry about resource quality. I make good money selling BE tissued clothing, and my fiance makes them for me so they're pure profit. architect is also a good choice.
if you don't mind hunting for resources, then try AS or WS. it's a lot of micromanagement if you don't want to spend a fortune to buy the resources, but you make more money. SW uses the most resources, but I heard you can earn a LOT... if you don't get burnt out.
if you eventually want to go jedi, realize that there are only 4 brances you can unlock using pure crafting skills. you might also want to pick up something on the side... right now I'm turning in merchant xp for 4 branches of senses, and using crafting for the other 2 branches. I hate grinding so it takes forever
you can't really get merchant xp from grinding anyway. combat will be the fastest way to go, and while a guild can help you hunt to get combat xp they might not help with the money/resources involved in grinding jedi.

Very cool, thanks for the response. As of right now, I'm going to do MArtisan/TKM......and dabble from there, see where it taskes me. I understand the money aspect comes from what you make of it.
thanks again....Akaie
