I was wondering because you get +20 to hiring, will you be able to put down a different vendor and keep it even after the buff wears off?

wouldent make sense placin a vender then it just downgrades to a big bulky hat wearing machine would it lol

lol i tried the merchant buff, what it did was let me put down and npc vendor and keep it ^_^

I wonder what would happen if a master merchant used the buff... maybe tehy could place an uber vendor or something.

Couldn't you also use it to dress your NPC vendors, when normally you wouldn't be able to?

I can make 15 point tools now instead of 14.97 as a master artisan (even though it says 99% still)
There are other benefits as well that I've noticed.

On a side note, just to confirm it does "something",
999 conduct copper making weapon repair kits.
99.90099 effect tool without the artisan buff.
99.98515 effect tool with the artisan buff.
So I gained a.08416 from it.
I'm sure if I used 950 conduct copper on the kit,it would make a much more noticable difference.

with bespin 99.99999 is possible, and no that doesn't count as 100% since swg rounds down(or at least so I been told).

Not that this thread is about Artisan Buffs (it was about Merchant buffs) but you can make 15.00 tools. I used the Artisan Buff and997 CD Copper and got one amazing on the experminetation and ended up with a 15.00 tool. I got it on a Food tool, tried in vain to get it onothers but gave up due to boredom. Will try again tonight with both 997 and soem 993.
