I'm pretty sure racial modifiers are "built in" to the skill they give a bonus to. So if you had only Novice Artisan (Artisan Experimentation +20), in your skill list you'd presumably see "Artisan Experimentation: 35". 20 from the skill box + 15 for human bonus.
Bonuses from skill tapes show up as a second number in the skill sheet, so if you (as a human) had a +10 artisan experimentation skill tape and only Novice Artisan, it'd show up as "Artisan Experimentation: 35 / 45".
These should show up even if you don't have the skill from skill boxes. I play a Bothan, and have "Camoflage: 5" (or maybe 15) in my skill list as a species bonus, even though I don't have any skills in Ranger.

You can see the race modifiers when creating a new character.
On the other hand, once in game, I dunno, but guess might be in your toon characteristics, as said upon these lines.

Ctrl+S, bottom section on the left hand side. Human Master Artisan will have Artisan Experimentation 115/xxx vs. everyone else having 100/xxx
