How do I redeed a structure? It saysthat Ican whenI try and destroy it.

In order to redeed a structure you have to make sure the structure is at 100% condition and that you have enough surpluss maintenance on it. How much excess maintenance depends on the structure. When you first tell it to destroy the structure you will get a little window telling you whether the structure will be redeeded or destroyed, within that window there is a line item that lists the actual prepaid maintenance over the prepaid maintenance for the structure to be redeeded.
For example, a small generic planet house requires 800 credits prepaid maintenance for it to be redeeded.
- If you see: 500/800 then the structure only has 500 prepaid maintenance and will not be redeeded. It will be destroyed.
- If you see: 1000/800 then the structure has enough extra prepaid maintenance and will be redeeded. By redeeding it you will use up 800 of the prepaid maintenance and will have 200 prepaid maintenance remaining.
Additionally, if this is an extractor or a factory that you are trying to redeed you need to double check the following:
- The structure must be turned off before it can be redeeded.
- All of the hoppers must be empty.
- The schematic slot (if this is a factory) must be empty.

The redeed cost if 50 times the base maintenance cost of the structure.
ie: A Heavy Harvestor has a base maitenance cost of 90cr per hour, therefore you need a minimum of 4500cr (90 * 50) of excess maintenance in at the time you "destroy" it for it to be redeeded. This is not modified by the Merchant's discount, nor by taxes if the structure in in a Player City.
Note: Whether you have enough excess maintenance or not, the radial menu will always say "Destroy Structure". The message box that pops up then will tell you whether it's going to be redeeded or destroyed.

Ah ha. I have everything in the Green. I probably need to turn the sucker off first. I assume I get an extra pop up saying 'Redeed' on the options?

Destroying/redeeding is really the exact same process. As long as you have everything in the green it will always redeed. In fact it should tell you in that windowthat the structure will be redeeded. Similarly, if you have anything in the red it will always destroy and tell you such in that same window.
One more thing that occured to me that you might want to check is whether or not you have enough space in your inventory for the deed. I've never tried redeeding with a full inventory, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that having a full inventory can generate problems.

It's def Empty. I haven't been to try it out yet. It's 2500 metres from current location and takes 5 mins to get there on my slow Speeder. Will let you know how I get on.
