hi there,

i'm trying to make a schematic to make a factory run of food and chemical crates. In the creation of the tools i'm using iron (2x) and lubricating oil. I'm using a 14.something generic crafting tool and standing in front of my private droid and generic item crafting station, however, while crafting i simply do not get the option to choose between creating a prototype item and a factory schematic, i auto craft the item. So now i'm wondering what am i doing wrong? should i use a different crafting tool? different station? or is it simply not possible to factory scheme them?

oooh my bad, theres no droid, what i meant is that the station i'm using is the one you also use to craft droids. In the name it says 'droid and generic item crafting station'

Generic Crafting tools can not make manufacturing schematics, only the specific crafting tools can. Get a Weapong, Droid and General Crafting tool, or an appropriate other crafting tool.
