SOE could save money just by implementing a fix where you actually have to log in and play the game for 4 hours a week in order to have forum posting rights

Most paintings are made by Architects who buy the painting scematicsfrom the Museum Curator in Bestine. Talk to your local Architect about whats available.

Also, look in the Architect Forums for more information. There are lots of threads there about the paintings, plus they are mentioned in the FAQ (I think).
