Thread: Help with weapon powerups? how the heck do they work on teh crafting side of things?

hey guys,
just a quick question for those who have been Artisans for a while:
- What determines what category (ie ideal range, speed, minimum/maximum damage, etc) your power-ups will benefit?
I've heard that resource type (ie copper, carbonate ore, etc) used in construction matters. im sure there must be a million posts on this board about that, but i havent found them myself.
Could someone help me out or point me to a post that could?

As far as Im aware its random, so you have to just keep churning them out till you get the pair of stats you want, such as max/min damage.
And of course, not all the powerups do all the different stats.

Check the stickies at the top of the forum.
But no, the type of mineral and chemical does not matter one iota. The only thing that matters is that both the mineral and chemical have overall quality of 990+.
