Thread: Artisan Quest finished but says it's not.

I'm going the artisan route so I can eventually become a shipwright. My R2D2 unit says I have to collect 8 units of one mineral, so I've collected more than that of Nidaide but it still says to collect 8 of one sample....what gives?

I dunno why this double posts.....anyways I also wanted to know can I sell this mineral anywhere?

You probaly wont be able to sell the material until you get over 1000 of it.
As for the quest was the droid out while you were sampling? A lot of times it wont complete if the R2 is put away

also, where does it say how much of that mineral I have? Can't find it in inventory.

The Droid has been with me the whole time. In fact I've collected around 80 samples now but still nothin.

When you hit CTRL-I (as in inventory) ingame it should show you how much you have. Fiqure 80 samples would be 240 or so that you are looking for. What kind of material were you pulling?

Ya I found it in my inventory, Nadaide a PetroChem fuel is what I've collected. Is there a way to take a screenshot and I could show you my screen.

The print screen button will take a screen shot, but don't bother in this instance. Your problem is that you're notsampling a mineral, you've been sampling a chemical. You must but using the chemical survey device. Try using the mineral survey device instead, it looks like a small metal ball. Sample for something using that tool and your quest should complete.

PetroChem isn't a mineral...go for copper or something, maybe that will fix it.
