Thread: Stuipid question but how do I survey?

Just tryin to do my first artisan mission and I gotta survey for anything.......how do I do that, do I have a scanner or somethin in my inventory?

yeh the mineal survey device..i think you should have one just set range then use

Since you have been doing the artisan R2 quests (from the other thread) you will have gotten your survey tool. If you click on it in your inventory (ctrl-i) the first time it will ask you to set the range. it will only have one option for range at novice artisan of 64x64. Once thats done double click on the survey tool again and you will get a list of materials available on the planet your on. From there click on a material and hit "Survey" and when you get over 50% on something then hit "Sample"

Double click on your survey tool or just try /survey.
