Thread: A question about Power ups, please help.

Hello all. I am wanting to start making power ups for my alt character and guild mates but have run into a problem. First off I am not master yet....lack the 300 app points is all, but that will go away if they go ahead and push out the next patch. Anyway, my problem is I cannot seem to get the experimentation screen up in my crafting process. I have tried using a generic crafting tool and a weapon/item....crafting tool and have stood next to both public, private and my own droid with a private crafting station but still cannot get that box to come up for experimentation. Can someone please tell me exactly what crafting tool and exactly what kind of personal/public crafting station I should be using or is the experimentation for masters only at this time? Any help would be appreciated so I can get cranking on powerups as soon as I master.

You need to use a Weapon, Droid and General Item crafting tool and you need to stand next to a crafting station with the same name. You can never experiment with a generic crafting tool because there is no crafting station which corresponds to that tool. Everyone can experiment, even novices, so there's no problem there. If you're trying to us a personal crafting station in a room where other personal crafting stations are present you might have to actually stand inside of the crafting station you're trying to use.
Other than those points I can't think of any other suggestions for you. I have no idea why the droid and the public station wouldn't work for you. Double check to make sure you're using the appropriate tool I suppose. Also, check your droid and make sure he has the proper crafting station installed in him. I've seen people sell droids as just a "crafting droid" with only one crafting station installed.
