Thread: Bonus to survey?

I looted a pair of boots with Surveying +8 does this increase the range if I already have +100 in survey?
Or can I have up to +25 mods like other skills, thus increase range more?

Once you hit survey IV the only way to increase your surveying range any further is to get the force sensitive survey tree. So no, if you're at survey IV those boots won't help you. However, it is rumored that after the combat upgrade the way many bonuses work will change; those boots might be worth hanging onto until after the upgrade if you've got a spare slot of inventory space in a house somewhere.
