I need help!!

My brain has been fried twice over trying to think of the best way to go about this....

I'm a Master Shipwright/Artisan and soon to be Weaponsmith.

How do you guys separate your high end resources from your low end resources?

Do you keep them separated according to Overall Quality, resource type, or separated by individiual stats like MA,SR,DR,UT,PE, etc?

Also where is the most convenient place you store these items? Do you keep them all inside crafting stations? Homes, or is there something else you consider a more convenient way to store them and retrieve them quickly for when you need to craft?

Please help, thanks.

Personally, I separate them just by type into backpacks. Each backpack is named to tell me what it holds, iron, copper, etc. In the case of materials intended for vehicles I have a separate backpack that's designated as "Speeder Resources."

The best sorting method I've probably ever come across belonged to an armorsmith that I worked with a few days ago. He had the entire lower-back room of a generic guild hall set up as his crafting room. In it he had several dozen armoires each named for either a type of resource or a component class. It was obviously very well thought out as everything had its place.

I think the key element in a good storage system is that it makes sense to the crafter. If you can find everything you require quickly without ever misplacingan item, then you have a goodorganization system.

As for the physical location of the resources, I've always preferred to store them in a house. I just find it too inventory clogging to carry around all of my resources. Typically I'll have just a little bit of metal located on my crafting droid along with a crafting tool or two and that's it. I would not recommend storing items within your crafting station. I know that a lot of people have never had a problem with it, but the fact remains that the hopper on the crafting stations is justsomething left over from beta and many people have lost a fortune in materials when their input hoppers glitched.
