Iknow this might go better on the Architect forum but just trying it here because we have Surveying and stuff.
What use is Lubricating oil with harvesters? I have a friend who makes a great living selling harvesters and he said it is good for people making them. I checked SWGcraft.com and it doesn't say that it is needed in the making so I don't know what he means. And he won't give me any more details.
Anyone here know?
Thanks,
Ysia

Personal miners don't require it, but the schematics acquired in Arcitect do.

Lube oil doesn't have any of the experimental stats that are used in harvesters so it doesn't work against you if you have low quality stuff.

so any lube oil is good for archs making harvs that need lube oil as a component..yes?

Yes any qaulity lub oil will work what it does is in the mining unit part it makes it soo it just uses the iron and steel stats Shock+heat+tough with out hindering exp.. and the same when using a final combine seeing those stats are usually not high..
BUT any chemical can be used.. fiberplast, and polymer soo if you ever find a 975+ mal+shock+tough polymer of fiber plast get as much as you can cause it will increase the hopper size dramatically while keeping the BER rate at max with using fewest expermentaion points to get to max rate.. its a trick very very very few architects do just for the simple fact that that fiber/chem is the rarest combo in the game : )

Plus, I am a Master Artisan and Master Architect as well.
You can always go to the armorsmith or weaponsmith forums. You're relatively safe from me there.
