Every once in a while when I craft an item (clothing)the title shows up in my inventory as yellow not white. It does not appear and different than a regular item and I did not craft it any differently. any ideas?

When crafting clothes, there is a random chance that you will create an item with slots. You canput clothing powerups (found as random loot off of kills) into these slots to make clothes that give extra stats (think Diablo gems). The yellow clothes are the ones with the slots.

OK well what about when the powerups are yellow, which weapons can these be added to? For example I made a barrel but I can't add it to any of my weapons. Do powerupshave to be added when the weapon is made?

I believe the yellow named powerups have two effects versus just one. I am not at home so I can't test this.

you can apply the weapon power ups to any weapon that does not have a power up on it already. I have not seen a weapon that can hold more than one power up but that does not mean it can't be done.. I just haven't seen it yet.

If the weapon name is yello you already have a power up on it, and I have noticed this question alot from folx that have recieved power ups from me: how do I put it on the weapon? you drag and drop it onto the weapon.. I have not tried it on an unequiped weapon so it may even need tobe equiped when you do it.

hope this helps

Powerups can only be added to player-made weapons, and only to weapons that don't already have a powerup.

If your weapon is player-made and not powered up, and it still won't accept a powerup, that's a bug that should be reported with the /bug command.
