Thread: Where do i get new schematics?

Please don't be mad at my n00bness... I have Experimntation I and Survey I and enough xp (but not the cash yet) for Survey II and so far I have made a bunch of crap CDEF weapons and my own mineral and chemical survey tools plus my own GCT. I noticed from reading posts that as my crafting skills increase that new schematics will become availabel to me. Is there any other way to get new schematics?

The only way I know of getting new schematics is to gain new skills, if you get up to engineering 2 you can start creating bone armor.

I've heard that you get schematics in other ways as well. I think faction is one way. I'm pretty sure that Imps get a few imp only droids and some furniture. I'd like see if other people have ran across in other ways to get Schematics.. at one time it was rumoured that Jabbas might have some hidden schematics.. any truth to that?
