HOW do you know when u get UXP?

i notice it when i check my skill screen while surveying. It never says anywhere but i'll notice that i am gaining in General Crafting and not making anything. Another way is to keep the xp status indicator (little check box under your stats listing on the left side of the skill screen) up on your main HUD and have it set to monitor the next level of engineering you need, or next level of merchant, or domestic or whatever. That is how i do it. I noticed i get around 6 xp each tome someone initiates combat with one of my CDEF Pistols (checked while grouped with people). Hope that helps.

that is a great help, i never knew that, but did see my xp for crafting going up mainly when I hunted vermin in the desert. I guess when i am using my own stuff i am adding to my xp as well as when others do. I thought I found an bug that when I harvested I got more crafting xp never pinpointed when I received said bonus...great info thanks.

That is the only way, although I wish there was an on screen message. (I wish general crafting xp would show up on screen as well). There is a maximum for most items of 150% of the net total general crafting xp for usage xp, and most items you will get it over time. Deeds however give 150% and you get it ALL when the person places the object, a nice boost =).

What I'd kinda like to see is a "UXP Report" page, that might be broken down by item type and/or user. Be pretty neat to be able to tell at a glance which characters are your "best customers," for example.

I agree this would be helpful for those of us who want to keep good customer relations.
