Artisan Archive

Last night was my first try at mining/surveying for minerals. I found lots of stuff outiside Mos Espa on Tatooine (Flurry). I surveyed, went to the waypoint, sampled - and it said I had retrieved around 50 units of ore (i don't remember exactly which metal). Later I went into my inventory to begin crafting - and none of the samples were there!!

Is this a glitch, am i doing something wrong? Thanks for the help...
