Placed two last night, a wind generator, and a mineral extractor. Three questions though:

1. Do I have to pay maintenance on it if it is turned off?

2. On the maitenance, it says next to how much you have in brackets the time that you have paid maintenance for (in my case 1 day). Is that one real life day or one game day?

3. How long does wind power an extractor? Do I need to dump mass units of windpower into an extractor, will it tell me how long it will power it for?

1. You have to pay maintenance as long as your harvester is up, whether it is on or off. If you don't pay maintenance, its condition will degrade. If it drops to zero percent, it will be destroyed.

2. This is real life time. So for your personal mineral extractor, you will have to pay approximately 700 credits every day you have your account active and want to keep your extractor in top condition.

3. After you dump power onto an extractor and you look at the status, it will tell you how long that power will last, listing it as (#:#) which is days and hours, again real life time. I think all power types are used at the same rate. The extractor just keeps track of how much power it has. I've only used radioactive materials. But either way, the status window will tell you how much power your harvester has.
