Sorry if this has been discussed before... I noticed that sometimes when I have a failure (not necessarily a critical failure) that even after I put more points into a stat after the failure that the stat gets reduced even further upon the next "success". For example:

I've noticed it in particular withfiberplast panels for some reason. Stat #1 may be 5% before I start. Sometimes I go ahead and putas many pointsin at once when I'm crafting in mass just to get the xp. So, if I put in 4 of my 8 points I get a standad failure and the stat does not improve or decrease. I put the next 4 points in and get a success of let's say "moderate" level. I would think that the stat percentage would go up some number beyond the initial 5% that I started off with, but instead the percentage falls to 0%. I've seen this same drop even with successes of the "amazing" or "great" variety.

How is this possible?
