Thread: Droid Engineer VS Architect
I need all of yours' advice.
I am a single character who makes and does everything herself. I don't have a clan to back me up, and I only have time to play about 2-3 hours a day.
So, is it economically feasible to play a Droid Engineer when the only droid with any monetory value is the probot? Even then, it is worth only 20K and I need to get all the way to expert to be able to build it.
On the other hand, a novice architect can easily build a house and sell it for 10K. They can then go on and sell even higher priced items.
As much as I want to be a DE, I just don't think I can keep up my harvestors/wind generators selling just weapon powerups. After running delivery missions to make up the rest of the money, I barely have an hour to actually craft items. Needless to say, I am not leveling up too fast.
So, do all of you think that I should go with an Architect or a DE?

Honestly, if you don't think you'll have the time to be a DE, then I wouldn't even THINK about being an Architect. I love the class and am enjoying myself immensely, but it requires daily upkeep unless you're loaded. It's a demanding profession, at this point.
