I'm a bit confused. I could swear that copper is a mineral yet today when I go to survey for some it is not available on my Mineral Survey Tool. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes. If it doesn't appear, it's depleted on your planet. You'll have to wait for a new spawn to get any.

Did you go to a new planet that maybe doesn't have copper deposits? I think I ready somewhere that it changes depending on planet - although I've stayed on Corellia so I wouldn't know for sure.
