a friend told me the game boots you if your afk for like 15 minutes, is this true? i think ive been afk for longer than that without gettin booted, not really sure though cuz when i leave my macros running im usually workin on the comp or watching anime on it so i check back from time to time to watch if some monsters mauling me

If you open the Ctrl + O options screen, you'll see a section that talks about AFK. Most of the time, it sets it at the minimum, which is 10 minutes. If you stay away from the keyboard for 10 minutes or more, it will punt you. You can set this up to 30 minutes, but there's always a limit (probably to keep people from macro sampling while in bed, as well as keeping the server traffic down).

I've been kicked by this AFK time limit myself, so yes. It does exist.

No, the AFK option is the timer toautomaticallyflag you asAFK, it does not log you off. I've been AFK for hours and not been kicked. I would like to see them implement the auto-logoff however. The servers canhave afull populationand youneed to queue up tologin at times. A lot of that is probably caused by AFKentertainers and samplerslike myself. We can't control ourselves, so we need to be forced to share. An auto-logoff after 1 hour would solve the issue.

In the upper left corner of the AFK screen (Ctrl-O) you can toggle off auto-afk. There is a little box.

I disagree with the auto log off totally. There are plenty of times that I am out scouting. I blaze through a few hours of killing for hide and bone. I have a bunch of red and green bar that are going to take a long time to come back while I sit in camp. I pitch my tent, toggle off AFK and let my player recover. It takes a very long time to gain these bars back to full potential.

If they are going to have bar degredation as part of game play, there is NO WAY there should be auto logoff. I pitch my camp and go do some real life stuff. Yes, I leave my computer. I shouldn't have to sit there and stare at the campfire. And no, I shouldn't have to sit there and do other stuff like craft, although sometimes I do.

STOP ASKING DEVELOPERS TO NERF THE GAME FOR THE SAKE OF THE MACRO SURVEYING AND MACRO DANCING! I PERSONALLY DON'T CARE IF THEY DO IT. GO FOR IT!

It is not and will not be the end of the SWG world. Have you ever gone to the cantina and watched what the entertainers have to go through. It's embarrassing sometimes. People saying stuff like "Shake it baby!" and that's not even the rude and crude. Then they have to put up with the lamers who med up and don't tip. I AM ALL FOR LETTING THEM MACRO.

NO AUTO LOGOFFS. The game servers should be built to handle the load. People shouldn't be punted to accommodate it.
