Thread: Do higher percentages give more results per sample?

I just wondered if you sample in a certain percentage area like 50%, then sample in an area for the same thing that is like 70% would you get more per success because the percentage is different or is based on how far up the surveying skill line you are?

As far as I can tell, I get about 10% of the concentration when sampling. Ie on a 70% I would get 7 and ond a 30% I would get 3 tops... So either way, sampling higher concentrations is much faster.

It depends both upon your Survey Skill to help you find better resources and the Resource concentration that you detect. It does appear that the 10% rule applies to samples. Remember that anything below around 70% is a waste of time as you won't sample enough resources before you Action bar runs out. I do "point to point" surveying until I find the highest concentration out there, then just sample the heck out of it. Hope this helps
