Thread: How do you use the Input Hoppers on private crafting stations?
I justbought ahouse and a crafting station so I eagerly looked for an Input Hopper option only to find none. Reading the description it didn't say how to load anything, just that you got an extra tab to access it.
So I used my crafting tool near the station and voila, there was a tab called Input Hopper with nothing in, so after trying a few things I eventually just dragged ingredients from my inventory to the Input Hopper window. They seemed to move so I thought everything was ok, but then ALL my ingredients vanished completely from the hopper window.
Did I do it completely wrong? Have I now lost all my ingredients? And why the hell isn't this explained clearer anywhere?

So what does the hopper do on private crafting stations? Allow you to dump a load of stuff into the crafting station and have it act like a mini factory, or does it act like an extra inventory?
Extra inventory. Running around with 2k steel and 6k power is a bit tiring. ![]()

Seems either I have awful luck or these are still bugged.
New station, all the trimmings, and the Open Input Hopper option on my crafting tools does nothing.
Im having the exact same problem. I know I have all the bells and whistles on my stations, because I built them myself, complete with the droid storage units. I get the tab, "Input Hopper", but nothing happens at all when I select it.
*sigh* another bug. I sure am glad I spent all that money on droid storage modules now.
i just dumped all of my resources into my new crafting station's input hopper, and i have no idea how to get them back. anyone have ideas?
I could be entirely wrong but I think the *bug* is the fact "input hopper" is showing on your radial menu at all.
