Artisan Archive

So, it seems that everyone is agreed that there aren't enough interessting things for Artisans to make. Here, then, is an idea that should appeal to many players, Artisan and Non-Artisan alike.

Trophies.

The StarWars has always had a somewhatOld West flavor to it. People go out hunting, and kill numerous creatures of various types. Wouldn't it be great if there were some way for you to mount and place upon the wall of your house the head of that particularly large Narglatch that you killed out in the swamps of Naboo? Perhaps your PA could place in their hall their first combined kill of a Krayt on Tatooine?

Creatures would drop a "body part" that you could then loot and take to your local Artisan for mounting on a placard. Thatwhole piece could then be placed on your wall in your house, similar to furniture. Additionally, if the devs gave us the ability to control the Z-axis (up and down) of items in our houses, then a person could make arrangements on the wall without having to use the stairs hack. We know that the z-coords exist, because we can use stairs to place things higher within the same room. Perhaps, we could also place "pelts" on the floors as rugs, after taking them to an artisan for "curing." This would open up a whole world of customization for people's houses, as well as a new avenue for Artisans to make interesting items.
