How many of you have Master Artisan as your only, or primary profession (ie, not actively working on being a tailor, armorsmith, etc...), or are you just on your way to something better?

I've been working my way up the Tailoring tree - very slowly. No one wants my clothes, as there is always better out there. However, as a Master Artisan I'm very good (33% power ups, 98% on repair tools, etc), and my items are in demand, but I don't make them very often because they do not give me useful experience.

But I was thinking maybe I should just be a Master Artisan, and not worry about the xp - make the things I'm really good at, and make a name for myself as a really good Artisan.

I do have merchant skill (in fact, I'm very close to mastering that profession, but I have no desire to buy goods from others to sell) - so I could sell my wares easily...

You can sell the electronics pretty easily to other elite-profession artisans. Even if they have Master Artisan, it's kind of a pain to have to craft everything. 30+%/15+% powerups are always in demand, but you don't really need master artisan for that.

My plan is this:

Marksman: 4-0-0-4

Pistoleer: Master

Artisan: Master

Merchant: 3-4-0-0

Scout: 4-0-0-0

Droid Engineer: Novice

This will enable me to make almost all of the MA and elite-required components,

advertise on the planetary map, maintain harvesters at a discount for a resource

business, AND be a viable combat character. So far, it's working great.
