Thread: Weapon Powerups that modify over 2 stats

I was curious how unique are weapon powerups that modify 3 or more stats? I've managed to create one powerup that modifies 4 stats and another that modifies 5. I'm just wondering if these are 'fairly uncommon' or 'OMG you did what?'.

They seem to be a LOT more common than they were a couple of weeks ago. I'm seeing far more of the three-attribute powerups than I ever used to.

I can routinely get a small percentage (10-25%) in a combination of three. I still only at 4-2-1-4 in Artisan (Mon Cal) so I can't experiment as much as I like yet.

It's a combination of materials with the needed values (I have ore with 999 OQ ), skill, presence of a good crafting station (unsure if it needs to be private) and a good crafting tool, and luck, so far as I can tell. There is luck as to if the powers put into it 'overlap' or stand separately. I've not heard of a tool with more than 5 qualities. Heck, I hadn't heard of one with more than four until your post But I'm no expert.

I was amazed at the 5 stat one as well. I've never seen one for sale. I'm not sure what to charge for it, I cranked out 100 of them infactory this weekend. I was thinking of asking 1k each, but maybe that is too high? I see standard 30/15 powerups going for 300 on Flurry.Wish I could remember the stats it modifies so I could post that information but I'm stuck at the office.

They usually come up for me, at least 80% of the time when I experiment with the crafting station by addiing additional attribute to it. Was able to make a few and luckily it came out was one with 21% mod on attack speed at the same time 20% on min damage...which is awesome from my experience...

But stand alone just using the crafting tool..rarely....even using 999 OQ material..

??? Why would anyone be crafting powerups and NOT using a crafting station? Seems kind of pointless. Those powerups with 3 or 4 stats on them don't seem very good to me because it splits up all the stats. Really, +6% of anything wouldn't even be worth having in most cases, I don't care if it's +6% to two different stats, I'd much rather have +12% to one stat.

Only time I've seen the 3 stat ones, are when I get an amazing success. Made a 4 stat one. That took 2 successive AS.

Well, I don't have them in front of me but all the powerups I have made even the 4 and 5 stat power ups have 1 stat at 30% and one 14% to 15%.

Ahh, if that's the case then yeah that's a good thing. The only ones I saw had pretty low secondary/tertiary stats so now if I see more than one pop up I get rid of the thing. I will pay closer attention now to verify what you say.

How do you perform experimenting? Do you use all your points at once? Or do you use them one by one? Or some other way?

Experiement one point at a time is how I make them, even then sometimes I only get two modifiers, highest I've had is five.

Oddly critical failures can give you more modifiers because a crit fail doesn't wipe out mods you have, so you can use every one of your experiment points up on effectiveness and get the best powerups.
