Now, I was just taking notes because I was doing quite well on all the subcomponents, but my final quality on the sensor suite and the tool were pathetically low. Using the best materials I've got around. I could of gotten a better final combine, but I got that lovely bug where once it crit fails to 0% you cannot raise it above 0 even though every experiment afterward will be amazing success. I made one yesterday and didn't have that bug, ended up with a repair tool with 62 functionality rating,
Using none of the subcomponents I made a tool with 12% effectiveness, 12.940006 functionality. It does appear to me that the individual components make no difference at all in the final product.
Has anyone had any other experience with it? I was hoping when I hit Master Artisan I could make some really good stuff using those little optional parts, it appears I was wrong.
Last week I made a bunch of repair tools, some using Control Unit and MSS, some without any options (none with the Droid Stroage Module as I canot imagine this option to have any effect on the outcome).
The final outcome of the tool--the number it says when you Examine--didn't seem to matter at all. The only thing that made a difference in the tool quality or whatever was the resources of the final combine, with or without the options.
