You really gotta feel pain when you go buy several gas harvesters, place them and the next day the whole planet has ZERO gas elements (tarquinas..corellia currently).

I wish the harvesters would email something.... or at least select the highest efficiency of what IS currently still there. I haven't figured out when some of the resources change, but I am not attending the computer every few hours 24X7. Many times I will get home and find that it had been dead since late the night before.



Also as a pet peeve.... what good is surveying other than getting a bigger scan range? I maxxed it out because I wanted to mine, but found that anybody can have any harvester they can afford. And having only 64m scan is not too bad, just means they have to scan more often. Once a harvester is in place it tells them all the percentages of everything. Survey needs more perks! Maybe able to scan at sub levels based on your survey level? So that at level 4 I can scan for all minerals at once (or at least all metal/gem/etc).

Having the larger scan range (320m) is nice tho because sometimes you can't quite figure the direction to go with just 64m of range. Plus it does give you better results when sampling by hand which you might want to do every once in awhile if you only need let's say 50 units of some resource and it's not worth plopping down a harvester for.

I found a 80 percent vein of titanium aluminum last night and placed 3 personal mineral extractors to dig a little up. anyway I start surveying the vein and all the sudden the goes poof. The mineral isn't even offered as a choice in the survey tool.

What Gives?

At least I got 1000 units of titanium out of that deal 997 quality.

Resources shift from time to time. Unfortunatly, your aluminum well has run dry.

I feel your pain man. Before the first major update I had some wind generators on a 62% spot and then *poof* that whole type of resource vanished off the face of the planet and in it's place was 12% wind
