Thread: Question About Surveying Attachments

I'm new to crafting and just found out that for experimentation tapes to be of any use, you need at least 10 points in tapes. Is this true for surveying SEAs? Does having 7 or 8 points inclothing attachmentshelp or do I need a certain minimum? Thanks.

As far as I know its only for experiment points that you need over 10 to show an effect.
With other modifers like defense or surveying its anything will go.
As a chef I can tell you there is a food, called Chandad,that increases your survey skill. I have nver used it tho so I dont know if it means you can sample more or if it effects your actual survey skill which you use to detect the highest concentration.

To be honest at MA I haven't seen any difference in the Survey skill tapes when being used. I have one for +1...this may be too low to see any difference, but it doesn't seem to give any extra range. I'm not sure if it increases your chance to manually sample as I use harvestors exclusively now.
