It seems that all steel has been removed from Tat. I was extracting in a 76% vein then this afternoon some time it stopped extracting and now I can't even survey for any kind of steel. Is this a bug or is it for real?

Might need a little more info. to diagnose this. You say extracting, sampling or using a harvester? Could it be that the resource you were 'extracting' depleted (how long had it been current?) and that no other steel is current on that planet? (there is usually some sort of steel but there are occasionally times when there isn't any).

Check swgcraft.com for your server and look under Tatooine to make sure there is some steel listed.
