A macro is a program you write inside another program to tell that program what to do. Confused?
An example of a macro in SW:G is:
/kneel;
/pause 1;
/stand;
That would kneel, wait a second, and then stand up.
You create macros in your Command Browser screen (Ctrl+A) on te Macro tab.
Check your ingame Holocron (Ctrl+H) for more information.

there are "slash" commands for just about everything ingame. you can macro just about any action.
I'm not doing a dissertatoin on all the useful macro commands; that's been done here (in sticky posts) and elsewhere.
you can type:
//
into your spatial window to get a list of all commands.
