Hello Artisans. My name is Isae Abraxas. I am looking to buy or lookingfor information about the elusive and rare 15 Ber Fusion Reactor. Any info on the place to buy one or if I can buy one from any of you all would be very helpful. I know they are pre-nerf and likely very very expensive, but I only need one to start my buisness as it will be the only reactor I need to fuel the rest of my harvestors. Please send me an email in game to let me know.

Your best best is to gather millions of credits together and then go post on your server trade forum with the subject, "WTB: BER 15+ Fusion Gen".

You may be out of luck, although maybe an architect can correct me.
Back in February, the devs tried to put crafting back to it's original design: the gain in an experimental category was related to the resource stats you used. The 7% increase we see now with a great success was considered a bug (+7% is supposed to be the max gain when using perfect resources). In addition to that, they also added (or fixed) another crafting feature: an amazing success not only gave you an increased gain compared to a great success, but also "bumped" the maximum percentage you can experiment to (also related to the resource stats).
This meant that you could use 990 conductivity copper in a crafting tool (which normally maxes out at 99%), and an amazing success would let you reach 100%. Similar "perfect" items were made in other categories, although almost all of them were items with a single experimental category based on one or two stats. A few architects used high stat resources to make perfect harvester components, then used these components to make perfect harvesters.
There was a great outcry against the reduction in experimentation, so the crafting changes were removed after being on live servers for a single day. Some perfect items were made, and probably even a few manufacturing schematics. But those are almost certainly all sold, and I doubt anyone who got their hands on one is going to want to let it go.
A good architect with quality materials can probably get you a 14 BER, and 13 BERs are even more common. Each +1 means only an additional unit per minute, so even if you settle for a 13, that means you're only harvesting 2880 * Concentration% fewer units per day. If you set it on a 75% concentration (not too hard to find) you can easily power 7 heavy harvesters with a BER 13's output, and that's not even taking high PE into account.
Of course, if you just want the prestige of actually owning one, go with Halaster's suggestion.

Your server trade forum is probably the best place for this. Good luck (you'll need it... I've never even HEARD of a BER 15)!

I've got two BER 18 Fusions that came into being during the patches that upgraded harvesters back many moons ago. I call em "The Twins" and no, they're not for sale.
I'll ask around for you to see if anyone else is looking to rid themselves of some.

Hi Isae,
Forgive me if you have already run the numbers, but in case you haven't.... I wanted to offer the thought that a BER15 on a 90% spot will extract less than 1000 more than a BER14. Considering the exceptional cost of a BER15 compared to the 150-200K, you might consider the benefits of a plain BER14.
For example, I have 2 chars, 20 lots - the bulk of which are harvesters and factories. I use 1 BER14 Fusion to gather all the power I need. Making sure it gets power with a high PE helps as you can double your 'power units'. (for every 1000 units you harvest, you'll get 2000 units of power to use).
My experience is I can place the BER14 for a few days and get enough power to last me the next 2-4 weeks. In fact, I haven't used my fusion since May 2nd and I still have 45K units (90K power) left in my pack. The BER14 seems so reasonable to use this way, it is almost transparent. I am easily supporting my Cafe and Architect shop with this - and even have power to spare my guildmates when they are in a bind.
If you also find this is reasonable, you could take the millions you save and invest it back into your business and really get yourself started.
Finally, even a BER20, which gets 5K more units a day seems tempting. But when 1 BER14 is carrying the load so transparently, I'm not sure it would justify a multi-million credit investment.
Food for thought (hey, I *am* a chef you know
