I'm currently 3/3/3/4 in Artisan. I'm also starting Ranger.
The problem I have is knowing what stats effect the quality of different crafted items.
e.g. if I make Adhesive Mesh Trap, it needs 13x Polymer, 7x Metal and 15x Bone.
Is there a link somewhere that tells me I need Metal with high Decay Resistance, or whatever? This, of course, would be different for something

Why not examine the schematic when you open it?http://swg.allakhazam.com/db/guides.html is the one I use when I can't get ingame.

Every schematic has both a required materials ie bone, metal, etc... and a percentage that certain qualities will effect the quality of the completed item. For example, the primary qualities for the metal put into a crafting tool is Conductivity. Which means I would need metal with high conductivity to make a decent item. If there is no % qualities listed then go with a high Overal Quality materials.
