if you know.
they say two-seaters vehicles arent possible because of blah-blah-blah but how are they achieved in space? it just seems to me that a ywing does a good job at keeping a passenger can a landspeeder really not do the same?

There are two reasons that I know of that allows it to work in space:
First, the space expansion is a completely different game engine from the ground based game. Different game engine = different rules about what is and is not possible.
And second, and I believe it was Guru who mentioned this in another thread, for multi-passenger ships they create a little bubble universe where players can interact with their environment and each other, but not with anything outside of their universe. This explains multi-passenger ships where players walk around and talk to each other, however in my mind it doesn't explain how the turret system works. In that instance you don't have the little pocket universe because the gunner interacts directly with the outside environment.
One final idea that I've considered isperhaps they've improved the server stability enough that multi-passenger vehicles could be possible on the ground now. To be fair, I haven't read any official developer comments on multi-passenger land vehicles since before JTL came out.
