if you know.

they say two-seaters vehicles arent possible because of blah-blah-blah but how are they achieved in space? it just seems to me that a ywing does a good job at keeping a passenger can a landspeeder really not do the same?

The overall reply from CMs is that they do not feel the need to be balanced. Yet I can find plenty of stories like this one:

Most Heinous Act huh?

Here's mine:

Area Mind Disease Pack C.

Made from legendary Fire Spider Venom looted on the first day of the Geno Cave release.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Venom power was 794. Cant remember what the pack stats were. But believe you me - it was awesome. Tested it on guildies and it took 12 cure packs to get off. Instant black bar.

Used it on Krayt Dragons and it ticked for 25k per.

Anyway, back then my player city had like 8 large bases, tactical centre's, etc right smack in the middle of town. They have since been taken out now but back in the day we attracted rebs like bees to honey. Raids on our player city was a daily affair. The rebs finally realised we had bases vuln right before server reset and put together a team to take em down. So there i was with just me and a few guild mates holo grinding and shooting the -edit- on TS when they attacked. With no buffs and mostly crafters on - the only thing we could do was clone zerg. So i logged on my CM/Rifleman and busted out the pack.Managed to burst run into the base and get one charge off. Died, cloned and chucked a poison pack on them this time. Couple of ticks later and every single one of the 16 rebs had a black mind bar and lying down incapped inside the base.None of them managed to get it off in time - even the master docs. All that remained for me to do was to walk around and deathblow them.

Bloody brilliant stuff or what?

Yeah, right, you CMs are NOT overpowered. And Godzilla was just a mere little reptile.

So, back to the question:

Do you guys REALLY think you do not need to be rebalanced?

Enough said. Venom of that caliber doesnt exist anymore. Your judging an eintire profession based on on account. For someone with such a powerful disease and cant seem to remember the stats give me doubts on the authenticity of this claim.

Wow. Don't you think you are reaching awee bit?

Tell ya what......

IF you think CMs are still imbalanced after all the changes that the majority of CM posters on this forum agree with.....we will take our turn at the nerf bat after they nerf Godzilla.

Pre-nerf venom of the absolute highest caliber and super rare for something thats almost semi-rarely dropping. How many charges do you have left on that pack before its gone from the SWG world forever?

There are two reasons that I know of that allows it to work in space:

First, the space expansion is a completely different game engine from the ground based game. Different game engine = different rules about what is and is not possible.

And second, and I believe it was Guru who mentioned this in another thread, for multi-passenger ships they create a little bubble universe where players can interact with their environment and each other, but not with anything outside of their universe. This explains multi-passenger ships where players walk around and talk to each other, however in my mind it doesn't explain how the turret system works. In that instance you don't have the little pocket universe because the gunner interacts directly with the outside environment.

One final idea that I've considered isperhaps they've improved the server stability enough that multi-passenger vehicles could be possible on the ground now. To be fair, I haven't read any official developer comments on multi-passenger land vehicles since before JTL came out.
