Thread: Question about fireworks

First off, I'm a non-artisan so please excuse the ignorance here. I hired a master artisan to make me a bunch of schematics of fireworks so I could put together a show. I've launched a few of them off (the type 18's so far) and they seem fairly unimpressive.

Are the type 18's normaly lame? It just goes up and has a single shooter in one direction.

Also, there are 3 to a stack. Is this something that artisans can experiment to increase?
Should there be more shooters in a properly experimented type 18?

I'm starting to think that the artisan just made the schematics without proper experimentation. Did I get ripped off?

Can you experiment for more effects per firework? Can you get more than 3 per stack? If someone could answer this, I'd be grateful.

Im not a professional artisan or anything, but I know when you combine alot of fireworks into a package it IS pretty impressive

Wish I could help you with the specifics...

By combining.. do you mean you can combine them before you launch, or just launch 3-4 at the same time?

You can't experiment for more pretty effects, although you can experiment for (a few more) charges. Type 18's are pretty lame...there are 5 other fireworks, some of which are a lot cooler. You should probably have had him make you one each of the fireworks first to see which kinds you liked best.

Fireworks! I LOVE (and know a fair bit about) Fireworks!

There are several different types of fireworks. These are "types" are numbered. 1, 2, 3........ and so on. The "type" numbers do not really correspond to how effective or good they are. They simply donate what effect they will produce. So a Type 18 firework will have a specific style. I actually like the Type 1 fireworks, airbuster I think it is!

Anyway, you can experiment but this will only affect the final quantity (3 being the least that you should get) and not the quality of the firework.

I think that what you are looking for is a fireworks package. It looks like a firework but actually holds up to 20 fireworks and will let them off in the sequence that you added them to the package.

It does sound like you had a bum deal there, your man should have given you more than one type of firework and explained to you about the packages!

The quality, and thereby the experimentation level on fireworks set how many charges each one has.... I would think 10 is max, tho i've never reached it... only 9.

yea just use crap, drop 3 harvesters, one on chem, one gas, one mineral, after a week you will have enough to make fireworks for months, i sell um cheap, crates of 5 or 10 soo that comes out to about 40-60 uses a crate, I put all the differnt types in a pack, with a crate of packages they can load if they want. I think i sell the crate of 5 for 8k? thats a crate of 5 of each type in a back pack.. its a nice profit and people are always happy. I name the packs Je'Cy's Fireworks package : )

If you like making um and doing shows you might want to higher your self out for parties, there is definatly a market for it

Sure they are pretty and all, but recently i've noticed much of the effects for them are not working at all. I used to love shooting off Type 2 Fireworks, but for about a month now they are not working at all. They launch off, burst apart in the sky, but the burst effect never shows. Is it a particle leak? All of my particle effects are turned up fully. I've heard other people say they can't see the effects on some of the fireworks either, so I don't believe this is limited to me. Of course its not a high priority fix, but it would be nice to have them working again.

As with everything in this game, it's bugged.
