Is skill novice artisan enough to complete the crafting quest from the village?

Find a friend that has survey 4, take the quest and then have them find spots for you to survey at.
Novice artisan works, but you'll go insane finding a spot with survey at that level.

i think you are thinking of the luck tree quest for enhanced senses which requires you to survey for different standard resources
the crafting quest just requires you to locate tons of sith resources (on the bazaar mainly lol) to craft mission specific stuffs so i can't imagine anything higher than novice artisan would be necessary

I have just finished the phaze 3 quest you use sith resorces stock up on them mostly those in the non yellow containers rudic and ent something are used more than most and ostine are the 3 main ones you will have to make a min of 20 items for the quest all done with the sith resorces you cannot assemble the shield although you get the schem for it which i think is bunk but oh well go figure but yes i was novice and have unlocked Experiment in the crafting tree

When I did that quest last go-round, I made an extra one of those half completed shield generators.
It's HUGE but it looks dandy in the basement of my store.
(I also kept a turret from another phase)
