I've been surveying from my vehicle and having problems stopping sampling in order to survey another resource. In the past, to cancel sampling, I would just /stand. Now I'm on a vehicle, obviously that's not possible.
Is there an easy way to instantly stop sampling? If not, we need one.

Heh... That's kinda funny really.
I tried a lot of things:
Dismount-Sit-Stand
Open different tool
Survey for something else
The only thing that worked for me was walking inside the starport.
It told me the concentration was too low and stopped.
Hopefully it's just a bug that we can sample from vehicles in the first place.

Hey all,
Use /bug to report this in game. I will be bring the bug to the attention of the Devs as well.
Thanks,
Guru

I suggest that the /sample command be modified so that if you execute it while you are sampling you stop. Another idea is a /stopsample command, but I feel it's unnecessary if the first is implemented.
And I will /bug this, even though I have never seen any result from any /bug report I've made.

Thanks for doing the /bug
When we carry an issue forward, the presence of a ticket in the /bug system helps us, as correspondents, make our case.
It's very disarming to say "Hey, here is a bug" and get the reply "there aren't any /bug reports of it, must be player error"
No, that hasn't really happened in that way, but having /bug report gives the devs a place to 'hang their hat' on the issue.
Take care,
Guru
