Thread: New to artisan just some noob questions

I am planning on taking one of my toons to master artisan / merchant .
I only really plan on makeing pups, swoops, and repair tools.
the question I have is should I definatly shoot for getting the extra experimintaion, I am a human so I know I will start with 11 should I get the +25 to get the extra 3 more points

For the repair tools and the swoops, no. You'll always max those out and still not use all of your 11 experimentation points.
With regards to power-ups... it kind of depends on what kind of power-ups you want to sell. With your base 11 points you can definitely experiment power-ups all the way out so you'll end up with two stat power-ups with both stats as high as your resources will allow them to go. However, if you want to make some of the four and the even rarer five stat power-ups, you might want to invest in a few tapes. I say this only because one of the best ways that people have found to get those 4th and 5th stats is to hit a failure on one of your experimentation attempts. It is still possible to get a four stat power-up without getting the failure, but it's more difficult and takes lots of attempts.
Basically, you'll do fine in everything you want to make with your base 11 points; however, if you want to have the greatest power-ups ever made you might want to invest in some Artisan experimentation SEAs.
