I didnt think it was used for anything anymore. How did you get it? You may wish to bug this in case it is a bad xp return. There was a period of time before release where some activites still gave obsolete xp.

I have it too. Not much, i guess around 30 points or so, but I can't seem to figure out how I got it. My only guess is it has something to do with the factory I have.

yes, I'm getting industrialist XP too, and I'm wondering what the heck it's for. I have about 2500 of it. Is it a pollution calculator or anything like that? I have a factory as well and I've pumped 1000's of items out of it.

anybody ever find out what this was for? I am still getting it. I think it might have something to do with me operating my factory.

not 100% sure, but i think i started getting it when i started making large housing. or a solar power generator.

Its a left over from beta. You get it from using your factory. Although the Industrialist Profession is gone we can still progress up the skill tree...

In case anyone was still wondering about this, I've spent some time figuring it out, anddiscovered (firsthand, mind you)that Industrialist XP is very similiar to User XP. You recieve it as a result of using the items you create in your factory.

For example (the one that has netted me the most IXP): I'm a tailor, and I require identical Reinforced Fiber Panels to create the Dusters that people are so fond of. I discovered that I get NO UXP for these mass-produced items, but rather Indutrialist XP.

I haven't discovered any use for my IXP, but am thinking that it may result in a badge at some point, because it has no practical use in any of the CURRENT classes. Perhaps it is a remnant of older programming code, and was meant to factor as UXP, but maybe the devs are planning something better for it.

I think this is an obsolete xp gain left over from beta, i wish it were otherwise because i have close to 100,000 of it.....

I was just wondering does anyone know the purpose of the Industrialist Exp you get from running factories? I may be over looking something simple, but as of yet i haven't seen any use for it.
